Tawakkol Karman Foundation has funded a displaced family of orphans from Taiz to Ibb with a small project that helps them face harsh life.
Um Ahmed is displaced from Taiz to Ibb governorate. Her husband passed away 12 years ago, but we were well off, and had our house in Taiz before the Houthi attack on the governorate and the war, according to what she says. She is now displaced with three children.
Um Ahmed says her conditions were good, but the war and displacement exhausted the family, and a new story of suffering began.
We wish to have a small enterprise to live on. People cannot keep spending on us. This was the dream of the displaced family.

Tawakkol Karman Foundation supported the orphan family with a small grocery project in the city of Ibb, which included renting the store, furnishing it with shelves and merchandise, a solar energy system, a refrigerator, and other requirements.
After receiving her project, Um Ahmed says: Now we have started work, and God willing, we will succeed and continue further.
I am pleased to thank Tawakkol Karman Foundation, Belqees Channel, and the team of Haith Al-Insan program, which is broadcasted by Belqees Channel during the month of Ramadan.
