Tawakkol Karman Foundation has opened applications for the September 2026 cohort of its Partial English Language Scholarship, offered under the “Leaders for Future” Program. The scholarship is part of the Foundation’s educational initiatives aimed at developing the skills of young people and children and equipping them with the abilities needed to expand their opportunities in education, employment, and communication with the wider world.
The scholarship provides applicants aged seven and above with the opportunity to study English online through different learning tracks designed to accommodate varying levels and needs. Flexible morning, daytime, and evening schedules are available, allowing participants to balance their studies with other commitments.
The September cohort builds on an educational journey that has benefited more than 13,000 young men and women from countries around the world since the scholarship was first launched, initially as a full scholarship and later as a partial scholarship. Through this initiative, Tawakkol Karman Foundation seeks to make language learning a gateway to broader academic and professional opportunities for young people.
Three Learning Tracks
The scholarship offers three study programs. The first is the Intensive English Program, delivered five days a week from Monday to Friday for three hours per day. It allows students to progress gradually from their current level through to preparation for the TOEFL or IELTS examinations.
The second track is the English for Communication Program, offered four days a week. It focuses on developing vocabulary, listening, and speaking skills and strengthening learners’ ability to use English confidently in communication. The program also covers a number of essential grammar topics during the introductory levels.
The Children’s English Program is designed for children aged 7 to 14 and is delivered five days a week for three hours per day. It provides an interactive learning experience aimed at developing children’s language skills gradually in an engaging and encouraging environment.
Flexible Learning and Complementary Activities
Classes are delivered online in cooperation with English Castle through interactive sessions led by specialized instructors. Each course runs for four weeks, followed by a one-week break.
In addition to language classes, participants in the Intensive English Program and the **English for Communication Program** have access to complementary activities and lectures aimed at developing their skills and knowledge and strengthening their capacities in areas relevant to their academic and professional futures.
Tawakkol Karman Foundation views learning English as more than simply acquiring a language skill. It is a means of gaining access to knowledge, connecting with the world, and benefiting from educational and professional opportunities. This approach reflects the goals of the “Leaders for Future” Program, which invests in young people’s potential and seeks to prepare a generation that is better equipped to contribute actively to their communities.
