Tawakkol Karman Foundation has established the first health unit in the Atab area, located in the Al-Mahra Governorate. The area, which is home to more than six thousand people, has been suffering from the absence of health projects for more than thirty years. When residents get sick or when a mother approaches her delivery date, they had to travel to the directorates of Sayhut or Al-Ghaydah, which took several hours to reach a hospital.Tawakkol Karman Foundation's Haith Al-Insan team went there and built a comprehensive health unit named "Balqis Health Unit''.
