Tawakkol Karman Foundation has equipped the premises of a sign language teaching initiative, "Hun," located in the building of the “Deaf Care and Rehabilitation Society” in Aden.

The initiative was launched by a group of girls with hearing impairments to help alleviate the suffering of other girls who struggle to communicate with others due to their hearing disability.

The initiative aims to improve the communication abilities of the deaf, and enable them to be active members of their community. Tawakkol Karman Foundation's support has helped furnish the premises of the initiative, providing necessary educational supplies to ensure its continuity, and enabling people with disabilities to learn in a better environment.
