Tawakkol Karman Foundation organizes in partnership with Nobel Women Peace Initiative a training program for Yemeni female journalists on the basic piece discourse for a sustainable peace in Yemen, with the participation of 15 Yemeni female journalists and activists from from different Arab countries, in Istanbul during 27 - 30 November 2018.
A conference in Istanbul, Turkey, supported international calls to stop the war in Yemen, and to withdraw arms from the several armed militias.
The “Yemen: War Challenges and Peace Opportunities”, convened on Thursday, in Istanbul, organized by Tawakkol Karman Foundation, with the participation of international and Yemeni researchers to shed light on the Yemeni issue.

Special care has been taken to make this conference include participants from inside and outside Yemen in order to serious and in-depth views and proposals on the Yemeni issue. Statement of Istanbul First Conference on Yemen calls for deliberate and responsible actions to end the war, restore peace, and preserve Yemen’s security and sovereignty. All actions must be based on the content of the National Dialogue Conference outcomes, the Security Council resolutions, and the GCC Initiative.
